The purpose of this research was to develop conducting and rehearsal management through creation of materials gleaned from teachers of various instruments and related classroom concepts. To observe affects of using various concepts and synthesize that information for use with the candidate's own band program. To review extensively aspects of form and analysis, basic theory and specific areas of knowledge of each instrument as a means of writing critical analysis of woodwind, brass and percussion performance.
