The purpose of this research was to develop skills in score analysis and performance self-evaluation of standard concert band literature. To gain experience in development of writing skills related to personal performance analysis incorporating classroom video of a selected composition via sightreading, a mid-point rehearsal and final public performance sessions. To review and analyze specific literature as a means of developing professional methods of presentation.
